Hotel Lauterbach am See, Putbus - Exhibition of photographs during 2008

Hotel Lauterbach am See is situated on the island Rügen. The easy access from Stralsund makes it the perfect location for lunch, dinner and an overnight stay. It is easy to reach from Berlin. 700 Year Anniversary of the Hanstein Castle, Germany

Hanstein Black-and-White photograph of MRD as part of the 700 - Year - Anniversary of the Castle which became East German property in 1946 and now belongs to the Council of Bornhagen. It is one of the most beautiful gothic castles in Mid-Germany near Heligenstadt /Eichsfeld, Thüringia.

The Niedersächsische Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek Göttingen has a special collection for Keltologie / Celtic Studies, and has therefore shown a huge interest in this exhibition. Since its foundation in 1734, the SUB has been collecting very intensively literature from the Anglo-American culture space because on the one hand of the close relationship between the Kurfürstentum Hannover and the United Kingdom (Personalunion). On the other hand, the SUB in Göttingen was the most modern research library in Europe in the 18th century.

The SUB has organised a German-wide access to the collection Wales related Fictions of the Romantic Era (e.g. Edward Trevor Anwyl, Anna Maria Bennett, and Anne Hatton) with 86 Ebooks, etc. because recent investigations of the concept of 'Britishness', as well as political developments such as devolution and the establishment of the Welsh Assembly, have raised the question of the relationship of the national culture of Wales to the larger British 'union'. It is now acknowledged that the novel played a vital part in constructing images of national identity.

There is a huge interest of the SUB to accompany this exhibition by readings, lectures and music.

Mühlhäuser Museen. Exhibition alongside the museum mile of the Mühlhausen Museums, Historic Town Wall, at the Women’s Gate, 11th April until 29th October 2007
MRD learnt about the rich historic heritage of 'mulinhusen'(Bach, clothiers, routes of commerce, the Hanseatic League) and noticed the restoration work after 1989, the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Latvia State Archive of Audiovisual Document. A mutual exchange is always important as Juris Rozenvalds wrote in his essay on Latvia where people live between East and West. The poem “Rits” by Austra Skujina is interesting where the window is opened in the morning, and the writer’s eyes are blinded by the light and feeling a longing because of the sun.
